This weeks sweet little block is
Old Maid's Puzzle and this is a very quick and easy block to piece. It's one of those blocks you often see in sampler's and antique Amish quilts, and I've included it because it was one of the first blocks I made when I started my first sampler quilt back in 2007 (
Sylvia's Bridal Sampler).
I love the simplicity of this block and how the paired triangles create a classic bow effect. Have a play around with the colour placement on this one and make this simple, yet very pretty block shine in your quilts.
